The Morning Light

Monday, August 10, 2026

Strength often arrives disguised as something too small to count.

The second grocery bag is still evidence.

Drink

Cold green tea with lemon and a spoonful of peach nectar. More interesting than water, less committed than a recipe.

Move

Try up to eight controlled sit-to-stands from a sturdy chair. Use your hands if helpful, keep the chair from sliding, and stop before pain or unsteadiness.

Small Joy

Carrying everything inside in one trip without making it a competitive event.

Podcast

A podcast about caring for the people who raised us.

Hosted by a daughter and her mom. Honest, sometimes funny, occasionally hard.
